This is exactly what I was looking for. Fits nicely, looks super clean, and for a surprisingly intricate 3D-printed piece it's actually perfectly priced. The adhesive works great, the rubber on the backing mount keeps it on solid, even the fact that they put locktite on the tiny bolts -- the attention to detail on such a simple piece is so worth it. My STi looks 100x better now. If you're on the fence about buying this, do it! I added pictures of the grill before and after I put the emblems on it so you can see the difference it makes.
This tray is a must have! It fits perfectly, as if it was fitted at the factory. The quality is first-rate; it's durable, the color matches perfectly, and incredibly handy. Doubles the usable space in an already small compartment. I'm astonished that Subaru hasn't picked this up as a standard fixture. You get what you pay for; you will not be sorry with this purchase! since the armrest in the Subaru Outback are relatively small, especially the Touring XT because it has the cd player within the armrest area, I really felt the need to organize and maximize the armrest space - thus subie tray does the trick, a little expensive but worth the money given the money I have invested in to the Outback
I've gotten non-OEM accessories for other cars before, but this beats them all. From the stunning presentation when you open the box (really, I appreciate the thoughtfulness of that!) to the quality of the materials and the 100% perfect fit, this is the item to buy if you are looking for something for your console.
The SubieTray provides just the right amount of extra space for odds and ends. The product is very well built and a perfect fit. I reached out to Ian to answer questions and his response was very timely. I highly recommend this product and company!
I think it's rrally great as an organizer for the center console, though I would loose the coin holder, who really uses coins.
I would also put a texture on the leather surface inside the tray. I find that the items I have in the tray slide during moderate braking or acceleration and I hear them.
Other than that, I think it's a great item and not sure what Subaru wouldn't have thought of it.
My original order was delivered to the wrong address due to a USPS error. Ian reproduced my order and promptly shipped the replacement order.
The product makes great use of the center console and use of the vertical space. I've already reorganized my center console and moved the loose change from my door to the center console.
